"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

A Chili Night on the Old Ranch

You have a night to yourself and decide that instead of cooking that you will just open a can of Amy’s Organic Chili (also available in Vegetarian, for those of you playing at home).

Do you plop it all in a bowl and pop it in the microwave, or do you put in a saucepan and heat it on the stove?

Please support your answer.

I go for the pan. I find chili is so much more likely to explode all over the micro and not heat nicely throughout.

But if we're talking "barely able to not eat directly from container" type night, then go for the microwave.

*nods*

And I'm looking at a similar evening myself tonight so maybe I'll grab some Amy's Chili too!

I'd go for the saucepan. Partly because it actually heats my food all the way through, and evenly at that; partly because I am thoroughly convinced that the old-fashioned way tastes better every time.

I use the microwave (covered with papertowels). That way I keep working without having to keep an eye on the food as it heats. Also, I like to heat and eat from the same bowl.

Saucepan, for the same reasons as Annika.

We leave that choice to Jim, and while he's busy heating the chili, we sneak caaaandy for ourselves.

Okay, just shoot me but I don't like Amy's Organic Chili so my answer is neither.
